Anthropic Releases Claude Code Review to Speed Up PRs
Anthropic has launched Claude Code Review for Team and Enterprise users, cutting pull request review times to under 10 minutes to relieve AI code generation bottlenecks.

Anthropic has officially launched Claude Code Review, making its automated pull request tool generally available to Claude Team and Enterprise subscribers. The feature connects directly to GitHub via a dedicated app, automatically analyzing new pull requests to catch bugs, security risks, and maintainability issues. By integrating review capabilities into the development workflow, Anthropic aims to alleviate a growing bottleneck where AI coding assistants generate pull requests faster than human engineering teams can inspect them.
The general release features significant performance improvements over the initial research preview. Most automated reviews now take between 6 and 10 minutes, representing a threefold speed increase from the previous average of roughly 20 minutes. Repository administrators can configure review thoroughness on a per-repository basis using three depth settings: Quick, Standard, or Deep. To minimize review noise, Anthropic also condensed finding notifications into brief summaries that outline the identified defect, trigger condition, and suggested resolution in a few sentences.
To drive enterprise adoption, Anthropic is offering eligible Enterprise customers between $10,000 and $50,000 in promotional credits, calculated according to their active Claude Code seat count. Organizations can claim these credits from October 15, 2026, until January 15, 2027, at 23:59 UTC, with funds expiring 30 days after activation. The credits specifically cover pull request reviews executed through the managed GitHub App on github.com, excluding self-hosted setups such as GitHub Actions or GitHub Enterprise Server.
For engineering practitioners, this release introduces automated review coverage against competitors like GitHub Copilot, CodeRabbit, Greptile, and Graphite. Teams evaluating the tool must gauge performance against their internal standards, as Anthropic has not released official defect-recall benchmarks. Administrators managing high-volume monorepos should monitor credit usage closely, particularly when deploying the resource-intensive Deep review mode, before standard billing resumes after credit expiration.
